この度 Gleichenia は、januka ギャラリーにて個展「Shared Surface」を開催いたします。均質で平らであることを前提に生まれたフロートガラスは、建築や日用品において安定した平面素材として長く用いられてきました。本展では、ガラスという素材を通して、手や時間の痕跡から生まれるわずかな違いが、ひとつの面を共有する関係─Shared Surface を探ります。1935年に建築家フランク・ロイド・ライトが手がけた落水荘 / Fallingwaterに着想を得た、WRIGHT コレクションの新作を中心に、さまざまなオブジェやコラージュ作品を発表いたします。手が触れ、時間を経ることで、一枚のガラスの内と外の境界が静かにとけあい、重なりの輪郭からうまれるフォルムが、ゆるやかに空間へ光の層を運びます。素材と空間の移ろいの過程を、ぜひ会場でご覧ください。

Gleichenia is pleased to present the solo exhibition “Shared Surface” at januka Gallery.
Float glass is a material born from the premise of being perfectly flat and uniform.
Developed for architecture and everyday objects, it has long been used as a flawless plane designed to transmit light.
In this exhibition, glass serves as a medium through which we explore how subtle differences emerge as traces of the hand and the passage of time accumulate—how distinct phenomena come to share a single surface: Shared Surface.
Inspired by Fallingwater (1935), designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright,　We present new works from the WRIGHT Collection, along with a range of objects and collage pieces.
The collection draws on Wright’s idea of organic unity and spatial continuity, reinterpreted through contemporary material processes.
As touch and time intervene,the boundary between the inside and outside of a single sheet of glass begins to dissolve,
and from that convergence, forms emerge that gently carry layers of light through space. We welcome you to see how subtle changes unfold between material and space.
