Gleichenia will hold an exhibition across two venues at once, SKLo and karch in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, opening on Saturday, March 18.
Thinking about what is being lost, and what is newly being born.
I am drawn, almost irresistibly, to the faint movements of things that are fading, things that remain, and things just on the verge of being born. A single wire, a stacked bundle of paper, an event not yet defined. I do not want the fragments of memory and presence held by things considered trivial to simply vanish. What emerges when we gather up the pieces of chance, narrow our focus, and keep observing. I hope this work can help others reflect on such presences.
Spring in Kanazawa. We would be delighted if you could take this opportunity to visit.
