Traces in Flowing Light — Gleichenia at CIBONE CASE, Ginza

Gleichenia presents "Traces in Flowing Light" at CIBONE CASE in GINZA SIX — a collection of pate de verre glass jewelry and objects born from long-term experimental approaches, as if guided by nature's behavior.

The exhibition features new CAIRN objects and earrings alongside the IN WATER collection. Each piece showcases the unique textures that emerge from Gleichenia's kiln-casting process: no two are alike. The gentle path drawn by water and the play of light and shadow through glass inspire work that "reflects the memories dwelling in materials" and "creates new landscapes when worn and arranged in spaces."

All pieces are handcrafted in the duo's Tokyo studio using their approach to pate de verre — crushed glass mixed with color powder and pigment, fired in a kiln, then cut and ground by hand. The process produces internal bubbles, color gradations, and the organic variations that have become Gleichenia's signature.
